2002, 16.2h Premium German Trakehner Stallion (Best jumping stallion at the 2005 grading)

Available for breeding in 2008 in Germany. Hirtentanz will be staying in Germany to compete in 2008.

For the male offspring of US mares bred to Blitz und Donner and Hirtentanz, if you present your Stallion at an American Trakehner Association or Trakehner Verband Stallion Inspection, the Stallion completes all parts of the inspection and is not approved, we will refund your Stallion Breeding Fee or your Auction Fee

“DER TRAKEHNER” will publish an article about Hirtentanz and his offspring.  The article is based on the personal impression of Lars Gehrmann some of which is below. Hirtentanz R., geb. 2003, v. Axis u.d. Herzlani v. Kostolany Bes.: David Beattie/USA, Deckst.: Hengst-u. Besamungsstation Geling, Dannau Hirtentanz who was often bred with jumping type mares, is passing on more beauty and impulsion than expected.  This is an important characteristic after the first foal season of the American owned premium stallion which is located on the breeding station Geling. His foals have good proportions (you should watch that the mare has a good  base of the neck and a long neck form).  The high athletic measure has on top a good moving technique in trot and canter, with clear upward movement.  When breeding to Hirtentaz, the canter quality often improved.

 

2008 Show record in Germany

5/29/08 at Bobs,Holstein in a class of 60 horses level A, 4 and 5 year olds, Hirtentanz finished 3rd with a score of 8.3. The winner was 8.5.
In a second class on 5/29/08 at Bobs,Holstein in a class of 40 horses, level L, 5 year olds, Hirtentanz finished 1st with a score of 8.3. There were three approved Holsteiner stallions in this class.
